Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F3C3L24171A001 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. (iv) This is a Full and Open Competition requirement; all qualified vendors are encouraged to submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332216 with a size standard not to exceed 1000 Employees (U.S.) (v) 0001 Contractor shall provide sixteen (16) Master Mechanic Metric Tool kit sets. All tools and kits must be etched with identifying marking as indicated within excel spreadsheet (VM Master Mechanic Tool Kit Final). All tools must have a lifetime warranty. Must have foam inlay cuts for each requested tool kit. Inlay cuts must be in accordance with AFI 21-101. See attached Request for Quotation. (vi) Contractor shall provide sixteen (16) Master Mechanic Metric Tool kit sets. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, and lowest price. The other factors considered will be the ability to meet the salient characteristics of the items above. Award shall be based on best value to the government.
