SHIPBOARD FLOORING KITS

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N62306-09-T-4004 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. NAICS Code 326299 and Business Size of 500 employees apply. This action is a total small business set-aside. This requirement is for the purchase of SHIPBOARD FLOORING KITS, CLIN 0001 Base Qty 1 EA, CLIN 0002 Option Qty 1 EA, CLIN 0003 Option Qty 1 EA, CLIN 0004 Option QTY 1 EA. Salient Characteristics: Material/Standard: The matting shall be blue-marbleized PVC. The welding thread shall be blue. Properties: The vendor shall provide a Fire Retardant Electrical Grade PVC Matting (or equal) and welding thread (or equal). The matting shall conform to Mil-DTL-15562-G Type I. Size: The matting shall be of the dimensions 1/8” thick X 36” wide X 75’ long each. The welding thread shall cover 500 linear feet each. Kit Contents: Each kit shall consist of the following items: 15 each rolls of Blue Marbleized Fire Retardant Electrical Grade PVC Matting and 3 each spools of welding thread. Items are to be delivered on or before 15 Apr 2009, to Receiving Officer, Naval Oceanographic Office, Bldg. 9134, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi 39522-5001. It is the Government’s intent to award a single contract to the offeror providing the best overall value to the Government, price and other non-price factors considered. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation—Commercial items are applicable and evaluation criteria included in paragraph (a) of the provision is technical and past performance. The provision 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options applies. Offers are to include a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items with this offer. The clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items and 52.217-7 Option for Increased Quantity- Separately Priced Line item applies.
