Notice of Intent to Award ---- The Defense Contracting Command-Washington on behalf of the U.S. Army Center for Army Analysis (CAA) intends to negotiate a sole source award with Fairplay Publications, Inc, for the license for use of the data for Ports and Terminal Database which include s quarterly updates to the database. The objective of the CAA is to ensure their continued management of the analysis that supports HQDA and Major Commands. CAA develops information that aids Army top management in addressing the issues of the greatest i mportance to the Army. CAA develops information conducting studies by employing analysis techniques appropriate to the issues at hand. CAA maintains special expertise in the analysis of issues pertaining to theater-level operations and Army-wide processe s, primarily those involving resource allocations.
