RECOVERY - This pre-solicitation is to notify small businesses of the opportunity that will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities on or about April 1, 2010, for two project areas requiring paving work to be performed at Mount Rainier National Park, Washington.The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, materials and permits necessary to: (1) surface preparation including placement of 5/8 inch minus crush rock, (2) milling of existing asphalt pavement in certain areas and (3) laying of a two inch layer of Class "B" HMA 1/2" Asphalt. Approximately 1,140 tons of asphalt will be layed.Project price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS: 237310. Project site located at Pierce and Lewis County, Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. Estimated start work is July 12, 2010 and performance time is 45 calendar days. Bonds are required - Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
