61 -- Doura 6 Steam Turbine Commissioning

The US Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Service Contract to a single source without competition for the following services: General Description of Services The Contractor shall complete the remaining commissioning activities at the Doura Thermal Power Plant, unit 6. The Projects and Contracting Office (PCO) requires the necessary resources under contract from Siemens to provide the expertise and specialized resources required to complete the remaining commissioning work on the Turbo-Generator and Auxiliaries, located at the Doura Thermal Power Plant located in Doura Iraq. These actions are required to ready the plant for start-up, post start-up checks and tuning of the associated systems. The following specific areas are to be covered: • Commissioning of Turbo Generator & Auxiliaries • Commissioning of DCS and other Control Systems for Turbo-Generator & Auxiliaries • Unit Steam Blow • Load Tests • Optimization • Unit Optimization
