99 -- Disintegrator

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has a requirement for a disintegrator machine and installation. The model is 22 Reman. This equipment includes a value kit basic system passport disintegrator, 20 HP, 460V, 3 phases, 60 HZ. GPO intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with MMAR 6.302-1 to Security Engineered Machinery. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All parties interested may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22.
