Copier Toner for the OCE Pagestream Printing System

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) SSA-RFQ-09-1585. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325910 and the small business side standard is 500 employees. The Social Security Administration is seeking quotations for a quantity of 100 cases of Copier Toner (3/box) for the OCE Pagestream printing system, model #250, S26312-F1097A2, type: A 2.7, 1407364, Color: Black. This item can be brand name or equal. The vendor shall deliver items FOB Destination to the Social Security Administration, Supply Bldg. Loading Dock, 6301 Security Blvd., Baltimore MD 21235-6301. The receiving hours are 6:15 am- 3:00 pm. Delivery should be no later than 5 days after the award. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is lowest price. The contractor shall provide a firm-fixed price and state the period of acceptance for their quotation. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The selected quoter must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. The FAR clauses and provisions that apply to this acquisition are FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items (see attached).
