MSFC has determined that the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) will be awardeda purchase order on a sole source basis for their ability to demonstrate high-performanceiridium coatings for x-ray applications.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to Betsy Anderson (ARCS) at
