66--Combined Solicitation/Synopsis for Continuous Data Recorders, Probes, and Appurtenances

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NRCS-121-CA-04 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 24. The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has a requirement for YSI SONDE Model 6920-BCR-0 (6920-42) 1 each; field cable 006091-25 ft. 5 each; YSI SONDE Model 6820-03 4 each; ammonium probe (006883) 5 each; nitrate probe (006884) 5 each; YSI D.O. Probe (006562) 5 each; YSI turbidity probe kit wiped (606136) 5 each; YSI-650 (650-03) data logger 1 each; Eco Soft software for Windows (006075) 1 each; PC interface cable (655174) 1 each; and Isco STI-12 adapter cable (609004337) 4 each. This equipment is needed for the Conservation Effects Assessment Project (CEAP) Watershed Emphasis Project on Stemple Creek, California. The YSI continuous data recorders and probes are required to assure hardware compatibility with ISCO automated water samplers already in use. The items are required within 30 days of notice of award.
