The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source to: Advanced Sterilization Products 33 Technology Drive Irvine, CA 92618 The objective of this sole source award is to acquire annual preventive maintenance and any subsequent repairs for Advanced Sterilization Products Sterilizers. Sole source is based on only one responsible source as Advanced Sterilization Products is the manufacturer of Advanced Sterilization Products sterilizers. Contractor has provided Manufacturer Sole Source Authorized Service Letter. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811219; the small business size standard is $20.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
