Information Store (iSToRE) Basic Cache Node

Synopsis: Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Office of Contract Services (OCS) intends to modify the Information Store (iSToRE) contract for additional services on a sole source basis. This proposed contract action is to enhance the existing software functionality for the purpose of adding basic cache capabilities to the forward deployed tactical libraries, and sustain operations under the current baseline requirements. The Government asserts that BAE Systems is the sole source capable of providing this service to modify the GXP Xplorer Client which is a proprietary Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software currently hosted within the NGA IT enterprise. This notice of intent does not constitute a request for proposal. Responsible sources may identify their interest no later than the closing date of this notification. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
