The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Belvoir (MICC-FB), 9410 Jackson Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, intends to issue a sole source award to Comcast located at 1701 John FK Blvd, Philadelphia PA 19103. Comcast is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A) only one responsible source, and solicited in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. A justification for sole source has been prepared in support of this acquisition, and market research has revealed that there is no other available source. Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Belvoir, VA., intends to issue a contract to utilize Comcast cable services for Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 517110 for this requisition. Comcast is considered a large business. This is not a request for competitive quotes. If you feel your firm can provide these services, please submit a capabilities statement by 12:00 PM EST, 08 July 2014. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
