NOTICE OF AWARD DUE TO SOLE SOURCE This announcement is to provide notification of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to enter into a sole source purchase order with: AT&T CORP. 3033 CHAIN BRIDGE RD OAKTON, VA, 22124-2542 DUNS: 147291145 The customer located at the Iowa City, IA Veterans Administration requires telecom service for their assigned Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 721 Broadway Street, Quincy, IL 62301. This service is anticipated to be awarded for a base plus two option years. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219. The communications services as specified below; 1. The Quincy Community Based Outpatient Clinic is requesting the following services specified below and the addition of a dedicated T-1 line to provide two way communications. 1 ISDN PRIME NATIONAL BE22 2 UNLIMITED LOCAL USAGE 3 LOCAL DIST CHANNEL - METROBLITZ LITE 4 DID TELEPHONE NUMBERS 5 FEDERAL ACCESS CHARGE 6 END USER COMPLEX LINE PORT 7 FEDERAL UNIVERSAL SERVICE FEE 8 ITAC SUPLEMENTAL CHARGE 9 IL UNIVERSAL SERVICE FEE This procurement to be awarded via Justification and Authorization for other than full and open competition (Sole Source) due to "AT&T is the only regional voice carrier within the Local Access Transport Area (LATA)".
