Online Leadership Directories Service

This Notice of Intent is issued, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.106-1(b), to inform the general public that The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) intends on issuing a contract to Leadership Directories, Inc. to continue providing Online Leadership Directory services for the agency’s Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE) . IMLS is seeking to identify other sources that can provide a tool that researches contact and biographical data for hundreds of thousands of thought leaders in America – with emails, phone numbers, addresses, and background information. This shall include building web-based directories with in-depth organization profiles and verified contact information from companies, government agencies, Congressional offices, law firms, news media outlets, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit entities. Because of its unique role in providing IMLS with this service, we have determined that Leadership Directory, Inc. is the only source available. Other organizations who feel are capable of meeting IMLS’ requirements are hereby given notice of an opportunity to respond and are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If IMLS does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency intends to issue a sole source award for the above service under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by April 23, 2014 at 4:00 pm, EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
