This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. Solicitation number W31P4Q-08-T-0616 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Siemens Government Services, Inc., LLS Div., 1010 E. Arapaho Rd. STE 300, Richardson, TX 75801-2302. However, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is described as follows: CLIN 0001 will be issued for six (6) each of NX Nastran with FEMAP Annual Manual License Renewal. The place of delivery, acceptance, and FOB point is Destination - U.S. Army RDECOM - AED, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898, marked for the attention of Ms. Susan Osterlund, AMSRD-AMR-AE, 256-313-8416. The required period of performance for CLIN 0001 is from date of award through twelve (12) months. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award.
