The Recorder and Reproducer Committee of the Telemetry, Range Commanders Council seeks industry participation in the re-formation of the Recorder Vendors Working Group addressing the establishment of interoperability standards for ground based solid state telemetry recorders. The committee objectives are to provide guidelines and standards to promote the interchangeability of data recorders and interfaces between member ranges. This working group will address changes to be incorporated in the 2013 release of data recorder related standards (106, 118, 123) of the Range Commanders Council. Members of this Working Group will be required to travel and attend a minimum of 2 meetings annually. Participation is restricted to technical personnel who will be expected to provide inputs and comments to future portions of the Range Commanders Council's Telemetry Standards (RCC document IRIG-106). The Working Group duration is expected to be 2 years with the first meeting on March 1-3, 2010 in Santa Monica, CA. Future meeting will rotate bi-annually among member ranges.
