R -- Portraits of HUD Secretaries

The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to additional questions that have been received regarding this procurement. The quotation due date of 7/10/07 has not been extended by this amendment. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS . Question 6: My question is whether HUD would have any objections if after being selected to paint one or more of the Secretaries; that I attempted to contact the Secretaries people and arrange to see them myself one time. I would take photos and see them with my own eyes which would be helpful. Answer 6: Only after contract(s) award, we have no objection to your request. However as stated in the solicitation, this will be a firm fixed-price contract(s) no separate line items will be accepted or modifications for travel and/or per diem. Also, each portrait must be completed within or no later than September 30, 2007, no exceptions.
