91 -- Bituminous/Sub-Bituminous Coal

1 (one) and 5 (five) year proposals are being solicited under solicitation SP0600-07-R-0400 for Bituminous/Sub-Bituminous coal deliveries to 3 (three) military bases in Alaska as follows: Fort Wainwright, 1 (one) year quantity solicited is 230,000 net tons, 5 (five) year quantity solicited is 1,150,000 net tons; Clear Air Station, 1 (one) year quantity solicited is 58,000 net tons, 5 (five) year quantity solicited is 290,000 net tons and Eielson Air Force Base, 1 (one) year quanttiy solicited is 196,500 net tons, 5 (five) year quantity solicited is 982,500 net tons. Delivery Periods are as follows: Fort Wainwright: October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 or October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2012 Clear Air Station and Eielson Air Force Base: June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2008 or June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2012 Continuous rail deliveries with two or more deliveries per week to each location throughout the performance period is required.
