Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Single Source Purchase Order to EBSCO Industries, Inc.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a single source basis to EBSCO Industries, Inc. for renewal of subscriptions to financial industry publications. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), the contracting officer has reviewed the requirement and circumstances, and determined that EBSCO is the only source reasonably available to meet this requirement. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to EBSCO on or about September 19, 2014. The total award amount is estimated to be below $25,000. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
