USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Nature America, Inc., 75 Varick St 9th Fl, New York, NY 10013-1917 for the renewal of annual subscription to Nature America's journal publications. Nature America, Inc. is the sole publisher and provider of the journals and is the only company capable of fulfilling the requirement. The following multiple physical site electronic titles are required: Nature Climate Change Nature Geoscience Online Nature Nanotechnology Online Nature Online Scientific American Online The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications or quotes to provide this requirement in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 5 days from the date of this notice. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
