NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Brand Justification-IBM In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2), Department of State, American Embassy, INL (Mexico City, Mexico) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of IBM i2 Licenses for INL Mexico. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications for future procurements in writing to the identified point of contact not later than August 30, 2017. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not companies are qualified for future similar procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFQ will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
