68--Various commercial chemicals used in the maintenance and operation of base utility plants and swimming pools

The Public Works Division at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of various types of commercial chemicals used in the maintenance and operation of base utility plants and swimming pools located at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC and New River Air Station, NC. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price requirements contract, with economic price adjustment. The contractor shall supply all chemicals identified in the Statement of Work, transportation and services to deliver at multiple sites throughout the base. The period of performance shall be for a period of 12 months from 02 July 2009 through 01 July 2010, inclusive. The proposed acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325181. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at NECO, www.neco.navy.mil, or FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about 12 March 2009.
