67--Amendment to attach the sole source J&A: Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Order to NAC Image Technology

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) - Tenant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, APG, Maryland, 21005 has a requirement to procure the following: GX5 Memrecam High Speed Imaging System The intended delivery date for these items is 1 December 2014. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source award to NAC Image Technology (NTSC International Corporation), a registered Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB). This firm is the original and sole developer/manufacturer/distributor of the required imaging system. There are no authorized resellers capable of fulfilling the Government's requirement at this time. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333316 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchased order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time, 27 October 2014. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
