Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, Boston Health Care Center, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source to TrillaMed for the MARS Holter EKG software update needed for the Boston VAMC to commence on 9/1/2016 through 11/30/2016. Contract will include FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for up to six additional months. TrillaMed is a Small business and is the only known business that is licensed by GE, the manufacturer of the MARS Holter System to perform software updates. A three month firm fixed price contract is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This is not a Request for Proposal. If other small businesses can provide an equal service and are licensed to perform software updates for the GE MARS Holter EKG, vendors must submit their technical capabilities, to include, technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government's technical representatives for consideration for future requirements. Email statements are preferred.
