[email protected] Description: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at White Sands Missile Range, NM intends to procure, on a sole-source basis with EXELITAS TECHNOLOGES INC., 35 Congress Street, Salem MA 01970, USA in support of the Joint Mobile Infrared Countermeasures Test System (JMITS) initially developed under Army contract W9124Q-04-C-0225; subsequent follow-on Army contract W9124Q-09-D-0800, & the current contract: W9124Q-12-D-0002. JMITS operational ability to support Missile Weapons Systems testing is intrinsically tied to the availability of functional IR Lamps for use by JMITS emitter units critical to JMITS operational and support capabilities for which EXELITAS TECHNOLOGES Inc., is the sole proprietor and patent holder of this product specifically designed to work with the one of a kind non standard IR lamp unit used in JMITS. A firm fixed price (FFP) award is anticipated. The government intends to issue only this single notice under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2)(iii), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
