Notice of Intent

The Western Area Power Administration (Western) Upper Great Plains Region, has a requirement for glued laminated wood pole structures. Based upon historical purchases of same/similar products, market research, and consultation with manufacturers of transmission line structures and materials, it has been determined that only one source exists to meet our immediate needs. Therefore, it is the intent of the Western Area Power Administration to place an order on a sole source basis to Laminated Wood Systems in Seward Nebraska for this requirement.
