This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The purchase will consist of Sporian Microsystems Inc. built and modified AQUA PATH In-Line Water Treatment system. The Government is in need of 6 units. These units are field portable potable water- waterborne pathogen detectors with responding devices in near real time (less than 20 minutes), that include operational in fresh, brackish and salt water conditions, adaptation for third party sensor integration; use for terrain based applications such as upon water purification systems for ground water and surface water deployment.
