This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is AG-4283-S-12-0006 and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-57. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325320 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is 100% Total Set-aside for small business and only qualified quoters may submit quotes. The solicitation pricing for this requirement will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on May 17, 2012 at 1600 local time. The National Forests in Florida requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, Velpar L Herbicide. The contractor shall provide 890 gallons. The preferred method of shipment for the Velpar L herbicide is 3 shipments of 225 gallons of Velpar L and 1 shipment of 215 gallons of Velpar L LI 002, Indicator Dye - Blue. The Contractor shall Provide 9 gallons. The preferred method of shipment for the indicator dye is 1 shipment of 9 gallons. See attached schedule of items. The contractor shall be responsible for the transportation and delivery of full containers (totes) and for the pickup and the proper disposal/recycling of the shipping/applicator containers (totes). Delivery shall be 20 days after receipt of order. Totes shall be properly placarded prior to delivery. Shipping must be free on board (FOB) destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov.
