Special Notice Acquired Programming

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT: USAGM-SN-19-00012AM Acquired Content The US Agency for Global Media (USAGM), Office of Contracts (CON) located at 330 Independence Ave, SW Washington, D.C. 20237, intends to award a sole source contract to Splash News and Picture Agency under DUNS number: 872667522 The Contractor shall grant the Agency a non-exclusive, non-transferrable license to provide seven daily exclusive video packages of entertainment news, around 30-90 seconds per segment which is produced by Splash News and Picture Agency. The Government intends to issue a fully funded purchase order for $33,000.00 for the one-year license period. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition that is applicable to this procurement is 41 U.S.C. § 3304(f) which is implemented at FAR 6.302-1 as follows: "When the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source ... and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive price proposals.
