Notice of Intent to Award as Sole Source This Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The authority for this award is FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has a requirement for scanning software to support the Office of the Secretary through the Laserfiche Records Management Edition Server. This will be issued as a logical follow-on. In support of its mission, OPM intends to issue a contract to Compulink Management Center, Inc., DBA Laserfiche, for continued support of the scanning operations within the FMC. The Compulink is the software developer and exclusive owner of rights related to licensing and intellectual property for the software. The required services include, but are not limited to the following: Laserfiche System Software Technical Support The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 511210. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. [email protected] within three (3) calendar days from the date of this notice. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. All FMC contractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to execution of award. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Compulink.
