Synopsis for solicitation number ¬N0018918Q0179 The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract under FAR Part 13. FLC Norfolk has been tasked to procure a firm fixed price type contract for radio advertising for the Air Force Band in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901(e)(2) for a sole source acquisition as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 515112, Radio Stations with a Size Standard of $38.5 million. This prospective Request for Quote (RFQ) will be processed utilizing “Other than Full and Open Competitionâ€�.
