84--Intent to Sole Source Mess Dress Uniforms for the 234th Army Band / Military Funeral Honors Program for the Oregon Army National Guard

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- National Guard Bureau, United States Property and Fiscal Office for Oregon (USPFO for Oregon), intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to: MARLOW WHITE 400 Seneca St Leavenworth, KS 66048 To provide Mess Dress Uniforms for members of the 234th Army Band for the Oregon Army National Guard. MARLOW WHITE is the sole provider of these uniforms and associated items for Oregon's Military Funeral Honors Program and the 234th Army Band. Due to the nature of this program and the visibility of the participants, any deviation from the colors, materials or design is unacceptable. There are no other manufacturers of this equipment or the associated accessories. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the service that will satisfy the agency requirements. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 315211. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may contact the USPFO for Oregon via e-mail at [email protected] and be considered by the government. If no responses are received by 1:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, August 17, 2015, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with MARLOW WHITE.
