84--Windbreakers, Black Polyester/Wool and Removal Liner (IAW MIL SPEC USPD-05-89)

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 315220 (Men's and Boy's Cut and Sew Apparel Manufacturing). The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, N.Y. is seeking sources to provide a contract for Windbreakers, Black Polyester/Wool and Removal Liner In Accordance With (IAW) Mil Spec USPD-05-89. Please specify if you are able to provide pricing for a base year and four (4) option years. The Option Years will include estimated quantities. The Jackets MUST be certified by the US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (NATICK). Bidders will be required submit proof of certification and a first article with their proposals. Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing these supplies. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 315220 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to [email protected]. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 7 February 2014. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 14 February, 2014.
