The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4710. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 6-16-06 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one 1G drawing item. This signifies that the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside with full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
