Description: (Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.) The Embassy of the United States in Port-au-Prince will issue a solicitation for fuel delivery services. The estimated quantity of fuel usage annually is anticipated to be for unleaded 95 octane gas 135,000 gallons and diesel 1,355,000 gallons. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. Major duties and responsibilities are to deliver fuel to the Embassy compound in Tabarre; to provide fuel for Embassy tankers at the contractor’s fuel depot; to establish a system in which the contractor provides fuel to Embassy vehicles at selected stations using pre-numbered fuel tickets; and if requested, to install a fuel station at a place and time to be determined by the Government (the Embassy), using the Government’s equipment. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in September 2008.
