GOVERNMENT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV), Indian Head, Maryland is requesting information on commercially available programmable influence mine simulation systems. Submissions must reflect systems capable of being programmed to detect, measure, and record multiple energy signatures of varying sensitivity (magnetic, acoustic, seismic, electrical potential, artificial light, etc) as desired by system operators in real to near-real time. Systems must be of sufficient portability to be deployed, operated, and recovered from small diving support craft typically used to conduct Mine Counter Measures (MCM) diving operations (ex: Zodiac/RHIB). The system must be capable of emitting visual and/or audible alarms in water and on the surface when a programmed signature threshold is exceeded. Performance description information is sought in the form of brochures, specifica! tions sheets, and company points of contact. Any information available on demonstrated or expected performance and estimated unit cost is also desired. Also of interest are systems which are currently in advanced stages of development which are planned to become commercially available in the 2009/2010 time frame. Please note the expected availability date on these submissions. Design proposals requiring developmental funding are not of interest at this time. Deadline for submission is 11 April 2008. Questions regarding this solicitation may be directed to the above POC. EMAILADD:
