A -- Hybrid Launch Vehicle Studies and Analysis (HLV S&A) - Formerly Known as ARES

This emails serves as an advance notice to all offerors of two (2) changes being made to the solicitation formerly known as ARES. The Air Force has restructured the Program Research and Development Announcement by making two (2) changes to the solicitation. (1) Renaming the PRDA from "ARES Phase I" to "Hybrid Launch Vehicle Studies and Analysis (HLV S&A)". (2) Removal of references to future Program phases. There are no additional changes to the PRDA technical scope, deliverables, schedule, or funding. Updated documents can be found on the SMC/TD Bidders library at http://www.losangeles.af.mil/SMC/XR/PUBLIC/. These two (2) changes do not affect program requirements. The proposal due date remains 27 May 05 NLT 5:00 PDT. We will not accept proposals referencing ARES.
