D--Notice of Intent to Sole Source Satellite Television Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT- National Guard Bureau, United States Property and Fiscal Office for Oregon (USPFO for Oregon), intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to MDU Enterprises Inc. 8537 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615 to provide Satellite Television Services for the Oregon Army National Guard. MDU Enterprises Inc. is the sole provider and direct affiliate and hardware owner for the current satellite service contract. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the service that will satisfy the agency requirements. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517110 and the Small Business size standard is 1,500 employees based on the U.S. Small Business Administration. This will be a firm fixed price contract, base year plus four option years. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
