V -- Notice of intent to extend contract for Base Bus Service at Lackland AFB, TX

The 37th Contracting Squadron intends to award, under FAR Part 15, a sole source extension of contract F41636-96-D-0015 to Bayou City Coaches, 1430 E. Houston Street, San Antonio, TX 78202 for the following: Bus Services to include shuttle bus for Lackland AFB, Medina Annex, Lackland Annex, and Camp Bullis TX. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to award under authority of FAR 6.302-1, One Responsible Source, for one one-month period pending award of a new Bus Service Contract. Ths intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider any proposal received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
