THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This is a notice of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's (BEP) intent to solicit and award a sole source procurement set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation wherein circumstances of the contract action deem only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The purpose of the requirement is to establish an award under FAR Subpart 6.3 for the purchase of OVT for the BEP's Eastern Currency Facility and Western Currency Facility. The BEP intends to award this contract to Crane & Co., Inc. 30 South Street, Dalton, MA. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their ability to provide materials needed by the BEP.
