6640--ImageXpress Micro Confocal High Content Screening System (VA-21-00070176)

The St. Louis VA Medical Center Research Development function intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Molecular Devices for the procurement of an ImageXpress Confocal High-throughput imaging system. This high-content confocal microscope which has the capability for live-cell imaging on multiple samples, is intended to be shared by multiple investigators with the need for imaging cells, particularly human stem cell-derived cells (organoids). Researchers require that the equipment includes the capacity for high-resolution rapid imaging using spinning disc technology, multiple imaging modes including phase contrast, fluorescence, widefield, and confocal imaging. Water immersion objectives are also required that minimize sample exposure as well as unique image analysis software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than 11:00 AM EST on Monday, July 26, 2021.
