Testing and maintenace of emergency siren system at Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel in Leadville CO

DESCRIPTIONThe work under this project requires the yearly preventative maintenance of the siren system inclusive of communication encoders, amplifiers, voice messaging, batteries, sensors, and proprietary software to be preformed within 60 days at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel in Leadville, Colorado. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). For this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334290 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), and FAR 6.302-1, the Bureau of Reclamation anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations with Blue Valley Public Safety for the above described services to be performed at Leadville, Colorado.Firms believing they can provide these supplies or services must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within 5 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
