The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract utilizing other than full and open competition procedures, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, as authorized by 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). It is the National Park Service intention to award to Redwood Empire Disposal Inc of Santa Rosa, CA, the "Permitted Hauler" for Marin County a sole source contract to provide supervision, labor, material, and transportation to service Contractor owned debris boxes (including dumpters and cans) at various locations within Muir Woods & Stinson Beach areas of GGNRA in Marin County. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within three-(3) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No formal solicitation shall be issued. The Park Service intends to award a firm-fixed price award within three-(3) days of this announcement.
