SYNOPSISW91GXY-07-R-0003 Contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and facilities and any other items necessary to perform the following service. The anticipated solicitation is for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for all services necessary to carry out the dismount, inspection, refurbishment, installation, transportation, handling, testing and commissioning of 6 each General Electric (GE) TM2500 combustion turbines. Contractor shall dismount 6 each worn units, install and commission 6 each refurbished units at Baiji Power Plant and transport the worn units to the factory for refurbishment. Each turbine dismantled shall be inspected and analyzed in a report prior to performing refurbishment. Refurbishment will commence upon U.S. Government approval of the scope of repairs. Contractor shall provide transportation of the worn and refurbished units to and from the Baiji site. In addition, the contractor shall provide on-site security and life support to sustain all contracted personnel for the entire duration of the project, as detailed in the (turn-key) Statement of Work. The work for this project is expected to be completed in two phases (Phase One -April thru July 2007) and (Phase Two - September thru December 2007).
