D--Follow on annual renewal contract for cable TV services for Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA

The Mission Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to obtain services from KNOLOGY OF AUGUSTA INC. on a sole source basis to provide a follow on annual renewal contract for cable TV services for Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. Services will be provided in accordance with the Franchise Agreement that KNOLOGY holds with the Non-Appropriated Fund Contracting Office for Fort Gordon, GA. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Government intentds to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 to issue a one year contract. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this award based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
