NOTICE OF INTENT: The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach FL intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Cubicle Curtain Factory, Inc., 425 Kanuga Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33401, under their GSA Contract# GS-03F-0027L and GS-03F-8014H to provide Solar and Black Out Shades to match hospital shades in place at various locations. This is a notice of intent for Sole Source procurement under Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The associated NAICS Code is 314121. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than noon, June 23, 2011 and all responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
