Q -- Medical Review Services - Psychiatry (Bilingual in Spanish/English)

The Social Security Administration, New York Regional Office, seeks licensed psychiatrists to work as independent contractors reviewing Social Security Disability Claims. The psychiatrists must be capable of analyzing and translating into English complex medical records written in Spanish. There is no patient contact. Services, as needed, are performed on-site at the Federal Building in Manhattan, NY. Contract is for approximately eight months plus one additional option year. The solicitation will be released on approximately July 16, 2003 with offers due three weeks thereafter. The solicitation may be downloaded at http://www.eps.gov.
