Notice of Intent to Sole Source. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to issue a sole source contract to High Throughput Genomics, Inc. in a total contract amount of $30,000.00 for the following service: CLIN 0001 – The Contractor shall test control samples by titrating the amount of sample and making measurements in triplicate. From this data, any genes that are highly abundant above a certain value are identified. Attenuation linker is added to the cocktail and the samples are re-rerun to confirm that the assay is ready for sample testing, and that all the gene measured lie within the linear dynamic range of the assay. The Contractor shall provide a report from the data obtained, which permits the VA to know how much sample is required for robust results and to determine the precision of the assay.
