US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) proposes to award to GE Healthcare Bioscience Bioprocess Corporation, 800 Centennial Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854 a sole source contract. It is essential that resins come from GE Healthcare because of prior protocols and FDAs highly stringent requirements for reproducibility and batch hemogencity make it crucial that the exact same materials used to develop the purification protocol also be used for the production of a cGMP lot of the vaccine. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated required product within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notification to this office within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated product within the established timeframe. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
