The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), intends to issue a three year sole source contract to Health Technology Center (HealTech), San Francisco, CA. for a membership subscription. The membership subscription is for unlimited access to the research agenda (identifying emerging technologies, forecasting); reports (technology forecasting and clinical focus reports), tools, working groups, and HealthTech website. The Government intend to acquire the services via FAR 6.302-3 and FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the Sr. Contract Specialist (email:
[email protected]) not later than 4:00 p.m. local time on February 12, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort, based upon responses to this notice, is soley wthin the discretion of the Government.
